please help

ok so i painted my ch***is black todayand got the whole thing together. now when i turn it on and the conrtoler on it dose nothing( not even correct the steering when you turn on the controler) so i started to feel the ep to see if any thing was getting hott and those 3 wires(white black and orange) were getting hott at the solder. could this be because 2 of them are touching slightly or what? please help me out.

i don't have a good camera, but the 3 wires (black, orange, and white) get extreamly hot when i turn on the car and controler. but you know how when you turn on the car and then the controler after how the wheels straighten out wellit dosn't do that

I haven't had an xmod for about a year and a half now so it is hard for me to picture it.

After looking it up online the three wires are for the servo just like I thought. I would carefully take apart the servo and check it. Touching wires would cause it to become hot.

ok if i were to resolder the whole servo would it help

I had this same issue this weekend, painted ch***is and nothing. It turned out that the frequency I was using no longer worked. I swapped it out and everything was A-OK. You might give that a try.
