Tutorials ( Finals ) Any post that we feel has earned the right to be called a "tutorial" will be thrown in here. The original post will also remain in the original category. This is a no-post category. If you have a tutorial you would like to contribute, please post it in the refering category. ( ie: a tutorial on installing lithium ions would go into the "XMod Electronics" category )

Servo Winch Diagram And CB antennas

Just a few simple tricks and mods for your Evo Trucks:
Here's a diagram on how to wire you chasis for to add a servo winch - it will be able to function off the remote aswell:

The diagram should be pretty easy to follow since everything is labelled clearly. (Note* - Light soldering is required for the additional wires needed.)
Here's a few pics of mine and a couple vids too:

Here's an easy way for making an exteranl functional antenna:

This is another way which is way more easier to do and it's quick too:

More tips, tricks, and mods to come!
Thanks for watching also!

X, I don't get how to power the servo from the controller. By looking at the diagram, it looks like the motor and winch would go at the same time? Please enlighten me.

Re: Servo Winch Diagram And CB antennas

^ If you look at the first pic, he shows a switch on the servo, and on the motor. You can run one, the other, or both simutaneaously. It does have to be switched manually. It would be extra cool if you could control the switches from the Tx.
