help with evo truck

I just got an evo truck, and I put fully charged batteries in it, and cant get it to run. Any help would be appreciated.

if nothing works, try different batteries then check the batterie wires going to the board. if that dosn't work put new batteries in the remote and if none of these work it's most likley that you need new crystals

ok, I will try all that stuff, but I have an e-firestorm, and I put the crystal in the car, into my xmod, and used the remote, and that didnt work

yah that won't work cuz you would need to swap the whole electronics set up in the cars for that to work

oh yeah and I forgot to mension that when I turn the car on, the wheels straighten out, but nothing works.

oh ok, well I do have the xmod crystal for the remote in another remote (not the xmods remotes)

So you have one set of crystals.
Do you have another set?If you have another set try that. If that doesn't work it might be the Board.

nope, I dont have another set. I'm trying to find an xmod to buy for under $30 shipped. It could even be a gen 1
